Born and raised in Philadelphia. Majored in newspaper at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Moved to San Francisco Bay Area soon after graduation, and been plying pen and keyboards ever since. Been a staffer at magazines (Business 2.0), newspapers (Half Moon Bay Review, Marin Independent Journal) and Web sites (MP3.com and, most recently, as an Associate Regional Editor at the Patch network of local news websites in Marin County). Freelanced for the likes of San Francisco magazine, Paste, Bicycling, Crawdaddy, Jambase, and The Onion. Specialize in telling rich, engaging stories in a clear, concise manner, with a solid handle on a wide range of multimedia and social media in doing so.
